Director and photographer Kasper Torsting takes us on an intense journey through the ambitions, anxieties and joys of a creative process. With a camera on his shoulder Torsting followed the Danish rock band ‘Kashmir’ over a period of four years starting just after their great success with the album ‘The Good Life’.
In the documentary ‘Rocket Brothers’ we are invited into the world and daily lives of the band members and come to witness their struggle against the expectations from both themselves and other people. We follow the difficulties in overcoming amongst others a writer’s block, witness the conflicts amongst the group members and discover the profound respect and love with which they treat each other - all in the process of making their new album.
‘Rocket Brothers’ is a true portrait of a creative process where no compromises are made - with all its ups and downs.
